Group exhibition
28 September – 30 November 2025
Three Finnish artists—painter Karoliina Hellberg, ceramicist Tero Kuitunen, and sculptor Raimo Saarinen—take over the Maison Louis Carré for a sensitive collaborative project, nourished by their presence in the house.
Artists’ statement
“Spending five days at Maison Louis Carré in the spring of 2024 allowed us to settle into a rhythm of waiting and observation. As the rain tapped gently on the windows, our gaze drifted out toward the green landscape where spring was only just beginning to emerge. The house enveloped us in a calming atmosphere of anticipation – as if it, too, had paused to listen for what might come next.
In the Quiet Hours exhibition, we respond to the house’s quiet invitation. We’ve created new works – paintings, ceramics, scent installations, and sculptures – that attune themselves to the atmosphere of the space and reflect on the lives that may have unfolded within Maison Louis Carré, and those yet to come. The exhibition is a pause in the foyer before the next chapter – a space where past and future breath the same silence.”
